DRY RAMMING MATERIALS FOR INDUCTION FURNACES
 |
DM ramming materials are neutral ramming materials made mainly
of high purity mullite and silicon carbide and having a high spalling
resistance. |
DM ramming materials are available in various kinds of types
chemical composition and sintering characteristics of which are adjusted
specifically for several kinds of molten metals such as copper alloys and
aluminum alloys, and melting furnaces of those metals.
 |
DA ramming materials are dry neutral ramming materials made
mainly of high purity fused alumina, and having a high refractoriness, a
high strength and a high corrosion resistance. |
 |
MSP are basic ramming materials made mainly of fused spinel,
fused magnesia, sintered magnesia and fused alumina, and having a high
corrosion resistance in a high temperature melting field such as alloy
steel, stainless steel, copper-nickel alloy, etc. |
 |
ZC101 ramming materials are dry and wet type ramming materials
having both zircon-natured high corrosion resistance and low thermal
expansion coefficient, which properties are suitable for induction
furnaces of cast iron melting. |

WET RAMMING MATERIALS FOR INDUCTION FURNACES
 |
WA1001 is a fused alumina neutral wet ramming material
characterized by high strength, high density and high refractoriness, and
is available in two types; a ready mix type and a site-mixing type which
requires addition of water by 2-3% for application. |
 |
W ramming materials are made mainly of a ROSEKI material
to be used for channel type induction furnaces for brass melting, having a
high penetration resistance for molten metal. |
 |
AZ ramming material are made
mainly of high burn special fire clay to be used for channel type
induction furnaces for zinc and aluminum melting. The hot face of
the furnace wall becomes dense during operation, and the resulting
dense layer prevents penetration of a hot aluminum metal and a hot
zinc metal. |
